This exhibition examines the ways in which artists are shaped by prevailing ideas, trends, and public expectations. In the pursuit of recognition and acceptance, artistic expression can become influenced by what is popular, marketable, or socially approved.
The works question whether the pressure to belong and succeed within a dominant cultural narrative can distance artists from their original motivations, gradually transforming passion into performance.
